Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract in Sycamore, Illinois. The role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services within a school setting, collaborating with educators and families.

The SLP will assess, screen, and evaluate students, develop and implement IEPs, and participate in interdisciplinary teams to support student goals. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours/week with a day shift and potential supervision of

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) required.
• Illinois SLP License required.
• ASHA Certification preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, screen, and evaluate students; share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students and review goals and objectives.
• Establish a positive learning environment and provide RTI for student needs.
• May supervise assistants as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Illinois SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details

• $45.05 - $49.60 per hour
• 16-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
• May be asked to supervise assistants
