Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate students and provide/document therapy in a school setting, following each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

Minimum requirements include active SLP licensure in the assignment state, CCC-SLP certification (preferred), CPR when applicable, and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.

• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care and physician orders.

Job description

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
