Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team. The role involves evaluating students and delivering and documenting therapy services per individualized plans and orders, collaborating with educators to support communication goals.

Active state SLP licensure is required; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by contract. Additional requirements include CPR, health certificate, and compliance with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Complies with all relevant professional standards.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations.
• Provide and document therapy services per individualized plan and physician orders.

Job description

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
