Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in K-12 schools in Dearborn Heights, MI. You will perform assessments, design treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to support students' communication skills and access to education, collaborating with teachers and families.

The role requires MI SLP licensure, DOJ/FBI Live Scan, TB clearance, strong organization and communication, and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain).
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

• One year of experience in speech therapy
• Department of Education certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload management
