Job Overview

River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare and Rehabilitation, located in the Greater Huntsville, TX area, is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We offer a diverse practice environment across the lifespan (pediatrics, adults, geriatrics) in both inpatient (short-term and long-term care) and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities
  1. Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing care plans according to standards.
  2. Provide rehabilitative treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  3. Assess treatment outcomes, modify services, and make referrals as needed.
  4. Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers related to speech disorders.
  5. Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries in line with regulatory and clinical standards.
Qualifications
  1. Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
  2. Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
