Tidelands Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and swallowing therapy across ages in an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and patient education, with frequent documentation of progress in the EMR.

The ideal candidate will hold SC licensure and ASHA certification, with BLS (ACLS preferred) and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program with required clinical internships.
• Licensed by the SC Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and active with ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review referrals, patient condition, history and records to determine speech therapy needs.
• Evaluate speech and swallowing using tests and documentation to develop treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with goals and tasks.
• Prepare written treatment programs and implement appropriate interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments to maximize benefits.
• Document treatment and progress in the EMR and generate reports as needed.
• Educate patient and family for home practice and continuation of care.
