Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders to promote independence and quality of life.

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing.
• CCC certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Provide speech therapy to improve communication, cognition and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and interdisciplinary team to support outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per regulatory and facility standards.
• Educate residents and families about therapy programs and goals.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment.
