Job summary

Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK, is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time day shift (40 hours/week) onsite. The role collaborates with physicians, partners, and patient families to plan and deliver care in line with ASHA standards.

Relocation assistance and a $5,000 hiring bonus are available for eligible external hires who meet qualifications; CFY candidates considered with commitment to licensure.

Qualifications

  • Alaska SLP license or temporary license upon hire.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.

  • May require driving with valid license and auto insurance when requested.

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week. Located onsite at Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK!

$5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Develops, coordinates and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family. Assists in direct patient care. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Upon hire: Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License or
  • Upon hire: Alaska Speech Language Pathologist Temporary License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • Upon hire: CFY candidates will be considered, with commitment of continued employment after certification and full licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and credentials in sub-specialty.

Pay Range

$48.79 - $75.74
