We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Seniors with a variety of speech and language disorders. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to improve communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • - Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities, including receptive and expressive language, speech sound production, voice, fluency, and social communication skills.
  • - Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, including goals and objectives that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.
  • - Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and strategies to improve communication skills, including articulation, phonology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and literacy skills.
  • - Monitor and document progress towards treatment goals, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to provide coordinated care and support.
  • - Provide education and resources to clients, families, and caregivers to support communication development and maintenance.
  • - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records.
  • - Stay up-to-date with current research, trends, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • - Current PA state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • - Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • - Experience working with individuals with a variety of speech and language disorders, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, neurological disorders, and traumatic brain injuries.
  • - Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage time and resources effectively.
  • - Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
