Schedule: PRN shifts based on availability. Department hours: 8a-4:30p M-F; 8a-12p weekends/holidays

Make a Difference

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, plans, and provides therapy for speech/language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Pathology required
  • Valid Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license and ASHA, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), required
  • Previous SLP experience in an acute care or outpatient setting preferred
  • Knowledge in anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy techniques, current materials, technological advances, and emerging professional trends
  • Ability to effectively provide quality service and communicate with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and other stakeholders
  • Understanding of behavioral, developmental, physical, emotional needs across age groups (children to geriatrics) is beneficial
