St. Louis Children's Hospital has an opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to work with a pediatric caseload in the inpatient setting. The position offers a flexible schedule, working with a top multidisciplinary team. Requires 1 weekend per month and weekday availability. Join our BJC Team today!

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose

The Speech Pathologist provides skilled speech and swallow therapy services, including evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities
  1. Establishes treatment plans and provides therapy, considering discharge needs, expected discharge functional status, and equipment requirements.
  2. Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; makes referrals to specialists as needed.
  3. Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students via written and verbal communication, assessing their skill levels.
  4. Completes documentation per departmental policies.
  5. Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for Speech Services.
