Tennessee Quality Care is seeking a dedicated SLP to join our fast-growing Home Health Division in Martin/Paris, TN. This is a Monday–Friday 1-2 days a week position with a rotating on-call schedule among staff.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct evaluations, assess home environment, identify equipment needs related to speech/language function.
• Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient’s function.
• Administer diagnostic speech and language evaluations and basic informal audiological assessments as per the plan of care.
• Recommend communication devices/aids as indicated.
• Prepare reports of evaluations and make recommendations.
• Advise, consult, and teach procedures and activities to clients, families, and staff.
• Provide direct speech services under a plan of care, recording and reporting client responses to therapy.

Qualifications

• Certification of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
• Licensed as a speech therapist in the practicing state.
• At least one (1) year of acute care or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to make home visits and provide care in the home environment.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate insurance.
