Job description

Job Title: Speech Therapist

Position: PRN

Job Description:

• The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN is responsible for identifying, assessing, and treating patients with cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders on an as-needed basis.
• The SLP also provides counseling and education to patients, caregivers, and staff regarding cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders.

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• One year of job-related experience
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Current and valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Kentucky or eligibility
• Maintain Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• BLS certification
