Job Description

The Speech/Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology.

The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

Position is PRN.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current state license/certification
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in various settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
• Demonstrate competency in applying principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
