Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will diagnose, treat, and manage communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Your key responsibilities include:

• Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, using standardized assessments and diagnostic tools.
• Treatment Planning and Intervention: Develop personalized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy sessions.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement interventions to improve communication and swallowing, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency therapies.
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): Assess and implement AAC systems to support severe communication impairments.
• Dysphagia Management: Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders with various therapeutic techniques and diet modifications.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
