Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech and language services to clients; monitors disease progression and adjusts treatments.
• Instructs clients in practicing therapies and provides consultation for treatment processes.
• Ensures compliance with speech-language related standards, policies and quality requirements.
• May supervise assistants, aides, and students delivering client care; provide education to peers.
• Performs other related duties as requested by manager; may focus on post-acute, long-term care or home health environments.
