Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a Select Medical and Vibra Healthcare partnership, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting in Bowling Green, KY. The per diem position offers a $50.00 per hour compensation and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and coordinating therapy services with a multidisciplinary team to promote functional recovery and community reintegration.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist.
• CCC from ASHA preferred.
• Certification in CLS or completion within 90 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops/implements/modifies treatment plans per physician direction.
• Directs discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs enabling return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs related professional duties in care and program delivery.
• Coordinates treatment with other clinical/therapeutic services and community resources.
