Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat patients referred for speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, staff and families to ensure high-quality care across ages from neonates to geriatrics.

The candidate will join a team dedicated to mission and values, with a focus on professional, evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. Maryland licensure and CPR are required during probation.

Qualifications

  • Two years experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting with an emphasis on adult neurogenic disorders, dysphagia, and communication-cognitive impairments.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required (if Applicable)


  • Graduate of an accredited school with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Current Maryland License to practice Speech pathology

  • CPR certified within probationary period.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

Two years experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting with an emphasis on adult neurogenic disorders, dysphagia, and communication-cognitive impairments. Adheres to the ASHA Code of Ethics Reads, writes, speaks, and comprehends the English language Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be willing and able to become proficient on basic computer systems utilized for documentation, scheduling and charging systems
