Job summary

AtlantiCare Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Per Diem / PRN team in Galloway, NJ. The role includes evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans.

You will deliver therapy, coordinate with other disciplines, and contribute to a inpatient rehabilitation team focused on brain injuries, spinal injuries, and neurological conditions.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• CCC or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop, implement and modify treatment plans as directed.
• Delegate and coordinate therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs enabling return to community activities.
• Educate patients, families, students, coworkers and self about therapy.
• Coordinate treatment with other clinical services as available resources.

Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Galloway, New Jersey

Schedule: Per Diem / PRN - 2 shifts per month / 1 holiday / 1 high need day

Compensation: $56.00 / hourly

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

A partnership between Atlanticare and Select Medical, our 60-bed medical rehabilitation hospital will open later this year and serve patients in southeastern New Jersey. Led by a physiatrist - a physician board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation - our team includes rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists; dietitians; case managers and other clinical and support staff.

• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
