Job summary

Bloomington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for per diem coverage in Bloomington, Indiana. The role involves assessing and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders within an inpatient/outpatient rehab setting.

Ideal candidates hold a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology, a state license, and current CPR/BLS credentials. Prior hospital rehabilitation experience and CCC-SLP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA or CFY status preferred.
• Two years’ rehab hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and related disorders.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.

Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem - Bloomington, Indiana

Bloomington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital We provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients who are often recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions. At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized treatment in the South-Central Indiana. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

• Graduate Degree from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current State Speech Language Pathology License.
• Current CPR

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Current and valdi state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification from an approved required.
