Job summary

Select Kids Pediatric Therapy in Ankeny, IA is seeking a PRN pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. You will treat a variety of pediatric patients with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, speech and language delays, articulation, and phonological disorders.

CCCs and outpatient pediatrics experience are required. The position offers a $45/hr compensation with Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification per ASHA requirements.
• State licensure to practice SLP is required.
• ASHA certification or eligibility; 300 practicum hours required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care while maintaining positive interactions with centers and patients.
• Coordinate treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services.
• Evaluate patients and establish treatment goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: $45hr

Select Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a PRN pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team!

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.

Must have CCCs for this position! Experience in outpatient pediatrics is required.

Responsibilities

• Build Relationships: Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
• Collaborative Approach: Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
• Personalized Treatment: Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs to maximize outcomes. Provide ongoing evaluation of your patients’ status and goals.

Qualifications

• Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
• State SLP licensure and ASHA certification is required.
• 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
