Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver and direct Speech Therapy services. You will assess, treat, and develop programs under physician orders, coordinating with the care team and family.

Supervision of students/volunteers is included. Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure or licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech Therapy services including assessment and treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with short and long‑term goals.
• Coordinate with patient, family, and team members; document progress regularly.
• Schedule patients and monitor response to intervention; adjust plans as needed.
• Instruct patients and families in use of augmentative communication devices.
• Participate in discharge planning and community/home programming where appropriate.
• Supervise students and volunteers per state regulations.
