Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. in Lockport, IL is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to design and implement treatment plans for children from birth to 18 years old, focusing on communication goals using verbal and non-verbal methods.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, receive mentorship, and deliver therapy in a playful, clinical setting while maintaining high professional standards; schedule: Mondays 9 am–6 pm, Tuesdays–Fridays 4–7 pm.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
• SLP licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients from birth to age 18.
• Create client-specific goals focused on effective communication using verbal and non-verbal methods.
• Provide support and guidance to families to foster practiced behaviors at home and in therapy.
