Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students across educational settings. This role requires a Master’s in SLP, active Texas licensure, and CCC-SLP certification.

  • Active Texas license to practice as an SLP.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clarity and empathy.
  • Develop evidence‑based therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the ARD committee.
  • Deliver therapy services or supervise SLPAs to implement IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Participate in ARD meetings and related discussions to advocate for students.

Licensure:Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.

Your Role:

As aSpeech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational settings. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.

Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.

Monitor Progress:Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
