Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic evaluations, treatment, and consultation for individuals with communication disorders.

You will coordinate care with physicians, audiologists, psychologists, and other health professionals to support patients and families, ensure timely documentation, and contribute to community outreach initiatives. A Master's degree and MA licensure are required; ASL skills are encouraged.

Performs diagnostic and treatment of communication disorders. Serves as consultant, trainer to Hospital trainees and staff. Provides case coordination, parent counseling and follow up services to community. completes documentation related to communication disorders and conducts clinical research.

This Speech and Language Pathologist will be responsible for:

• Performing diagnostic evaluations, consultative services, and intervention for individuals with reduced hearing levels.
• Providing case coordination, parent/caregiver counseling, and follow-up services to the local community.
• Completing documentation within 10 days of service provision.
• Working in close collaboration and partnership with physicians, audiologists, psychologists, and other health care professionals.

To qualify, you must have:

• A Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a closely related field.
• 2-3 years of directly related clinical experience preferred.
• A current Massachusetts state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Applicants are strongly encouraged to be fluent in American Sign Language.

Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
