Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current NC license or temporary non-renewable license to practice as a Speech Pathologist approved by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology.
• Valid NC driver's license.
• New graduates are eligible to apply.
• ASHA CCC or pursuing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers basic & complex diagnostic tests and evaluations for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Educates and supervises graduate students and clinical fellows; contributes to program development.
• Evaluates care results and adjusts treatment goals to promote continuity of care.
• Implements current techniques to provide quality rehabilitative services and maintain progress.
• Participates in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains valid and reliable records of procedures and progress.
