Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility to obtain before employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement SLP treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private sessions and a functional-based treatment approach.
