Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders. You will design, implement, and monitor individualized rehab plans across diverse settings to restore speech and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits; design the plan and deliver rehab services.
• You’re a healer and a helper who addresses the whole patient and designs programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities.
• Adapt to patient needs and work across settings; collaborate with peers and refer when needed to ensure patient thriving.
• Act as a teacher to train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
