Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing abilities, delivering tailored rehab plans and working across care settings. You will design and execute programs that restore speech and maximize independence, collaborating with teammates and referring when needed.

A teaching approach supports patients and caregivers to promote ongoing success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field per ASHA.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders or deficits; design and deliver rehab plans.
• Design the plan and work with patients to execute those plans.
• Be a healer and a helper, addressing the whole patient and individual goals.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to other care teams to ensure patient thriving.
• Teacher to train patients and caregivers on skills for independence and productivity.
