Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for maternity leave coverage in Birmingham, AL. The role runs November 2026 through February 2027, full-time, 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday.

The SLP will evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders, create therapy plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and manage student records. Alabama licensure and certificate endorsements are required; school-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama State SLP license or eligibility.
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with SLP endorsement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a Maternity Leave coverage at i3 Elementary School.
