Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term substitute role in the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program. The incumbent will diagnose and treat communication disorders, focusing on speech, language, and hearing problems to improve a child's communication abilities within their capacity.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and Minnesota Pre K-12 Speech Language Pathologist licensure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat communication disorders in children (speech, language, and hearing).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication abilities.
• Collaborate with ECSE team and educators, maintain accurate records and progress notes.

Position Summary

Speech/Language Pathologist is responsible for diagnosis and treatment of communication anomalies � specifically, speech, language, and hearing problems. The goal is to normalize the communication processes within the limits of the child's capacity.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minnesota teaching license(s): Pre K-12 Speech Language Pathologist

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $287.64 per day. This is a temporary position.

• Eligible employees will participate in the state's pension program, Teachers Retirement Association (TRA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
