What you will do in this role:
  • Perform patient assessments
  • Provide care in accordance with physician’s orders and established care plans
  • Assess treatment effectiveness and modify as needed to meet goals
  • Plan for patient discharge; communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members to achieve rehabilitation goals and maximize recovery
  • Participate in performance improvement and program development activities
  • Contribute to budget planning to enhance cost-effectiveness of services
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similar fields accepted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible for ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY) participation
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
