Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to assist with inpatient and outpatient therapy during peaks in census or staff vacations. You will assess and treat speech and language disorders, conduct evaluations, and collaboratively develop intervention plans with physicians, families and other clinicians.

This PRN, 12-hour weekly daytime role requires advanced education, licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• Clinical Fellowship Year eligible or CCC required.
• Active licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments.
• Conducts evaluations of speech and language skills using diagnostic materials.
• Develops treatment plans with appropriate strategies and materials.
• Establishes treatment priorities including education and counseling.
• Completes required documentation to record progress.
• Collaborates with physicians, families, and other providers.
• May direct support staff in assisting with treatment.
