Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students with significant communication needs in a school setting. This full-time role focuses on direct and consultative therapy, IEP goal alignment, and AAC-assisted communication.

CCC credentials or CFY eligibility are welcome, with state licensure required. Collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to help students reach meaningful communication milestones.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid state license or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
• CCC licensure or eligibility for CFY supervision.
• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
• Background in pediatric and school-based SLP.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative therapy to elementary students with profound communication needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Support students in mastering communication using AAC and other devices.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize progress.
• Regularly document student progress and participate in IEP and team meetings.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that celebrates each child's achievements.

Education

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY eligibility
