Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based contract near Dixon, IL. The role involves 37.5 hours per week across two campuses, serving K6 or K8 caseload per interview/preferences.

We welcome both experienced SLP-CCC candidates and CFY newcomers, with dedicated supervision and mentorship. Compensation starts at $85+ per hour, with ongoing professional development in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current or eligible Illinois SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered interventions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide screening, evaluation, and direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency needs.
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support.
  • Offer consultative support to teachers and families.
  • Attend campus meetings and contribute to school initiatives.
  • Assist in school-wide speech-language programs and goals.

Job description
