Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY for a contract role supporting elementary students in a Basehor, Kansas school. The ideal candidate has AAC experience and a passion for collaborative, student-centered therapy in a supportive educational setting.

You will provide diagnostic and therapeutic SLP services, develop IEPs, integrate AAC strategies into sessions, and collaborate with teachers, staff and families to track progress.

Qualifications

  • Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility as an SLP-CF.
  • Experience with AAC and implementing AAC strategies.
  • Familiarity with conducting therapy in school settings (in-person and/or teletherapy).
  • Comfort working with elementary-aged students.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to elementary students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Integrate AAC strategies into daily therapy sessions to promote student engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress.
  • Maintain responsive and timely communication with the school team.
  • Accurately document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings.
