ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support a small caseload of 16 students in grades 3K through 3rd at an elementary school near Barnwell, SC. This part-time role involves two days per week, preferably Mondays and Wednesdays, offering meaningful one-on-one connections and scheduling autonomy.

You will conduct assessments, develop therapy plans for speech, language, and communication, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement

Qualifications

  • Valid SLP-CCC credential and eligibility for practice in schools.
  • Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Familiarity with IEP writing and implementation.
  • Ability to develop tailored therapy plans addressing speech, language, and communication needs within school settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and therapy goals.
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans integrating into classroom activities.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers and education teams to provide strategies and accommodations.
  • Document student progress and maintain detailed compliance records in line with school and district guidelines.
  • Engage families with ongoing updates and recommendations to foster consistency across settings.
  • Advocate for student needs and support inclusive learning environments.
