Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for Powerback therapy services. You will assess, treat, and monitor communication, swallowing, and related disorders, delivering evidence-based rehabilitation in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

You will design and execute individualized treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and contribute to an environment that supports recovery and functional communication goals across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology per ASHA guidelines.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehab services and design therapy plans for patients.
• Execute therapy plans and monitor progress with patients.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and communication skills.
• Support patients in returning to daily activities and quality of life.
