Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide objective assessments and customized treatment plans for patients across ages. The role requires a Master's in Speech/Language Pathology, current or provisional SLP licensure in the practice state, and BLS certification.

ASHA certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire, with readiness to respond to emergencies as needed. Preferred candidates have about one year of experience and experience caring for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• Current or provisional SLP licensure in applicable State is required.
• BLS certification required; ASHA certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals.
• Provides care to patients per licensure and certification requirements.
