Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA seeks a Speech Language Pathologist II to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for dysphagia, speech, language, and cognitive disorders in inpatients and outpatients. You will lead programs and ensure care aligns with ASHA and California Board standards.

The role requires a master’s degree or equivalent experience, state license or eligibility, and BLS. Inpatient experience and FEES/MBSImP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduation from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology (Master’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience).
• License or California state license as SLP or eligible licensure; CCC-SLP from ASHA.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: FEES and MBSImP certifications; CA driver's license.

• Plan and implement programs to meet individual patient needs, ensuring safe care and ethical standards.
• Independent clinician leading with Cottage Health values of excellence, integrity, and compassion.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for dysphagia, speech, language and cognitive disorders for inpatients and outpatients.
