Job summary

Beaumont ASHN LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive skilled care under physician orders within the defined territory in Detroit, MI. You will educate patients and families and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires accurate documentation, collaboration with care teams, and active participation in on-call and trainings to support patient outcomes and program quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as an SLP preferred.
• Home care experience is desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and coworkers.
• Knowledgeable on speech therapy best practices and judgments.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy as ordered by the attending physician.
• Evaluates level of functioning using diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
• Develops an individualized ST plan of care and adjusts as needed.
• Completes all clinical documentation per agency protocol and Medicare guidelines.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges to ensure continuity of care.
