Job summary

Christus Home Care in Palestine, TX is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our compassionate team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments in home health patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and the plan of care.
• Evaluates patient function and assists in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication and swallowing as appropriate to condition.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses and changes to treatment.
• Instructs patient, family and caregivers in speech therapy activities.
