Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at BAYADA Home Health Care

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position providing home health services in Williston, VT. The office serves adult and geriatric patients across Washington and Orange counties, VT.

Experience in home care as an SLP is preferred but not mandatory.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, enabling clients to receive necessary medical care while remaining at home.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct home visits within designated areas.
2. Perform evaluations to diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
3. Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and physician directives.
4. Collaborate with clinicians on multidisciplinary care plans.
5. Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
6. Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

1. Current Vermont Speech Language Pathologist license.
2. American Speech and Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred) or equivalent qualifications, with eligibility to sit for the exam.
3. Proficiency in computer skills; experience with electronic medical records is a plus.
