- DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs evaluations on referred patients promptly and formulates diagnoses based on assessment findings.
- Establishes individualized treatment plans and goals based on diagnostic testing.
- Provides treatment for communication deficits identified during evaluations.
- Completes documentation according to practice setting guidelines.
- Collaborates with healthcare team members to identify needs and plan continued services post-discharge.
Education, License, Certification, and Other Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology, or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) meeting ASHA requirements.
- Current active Speech Pathology license in Kentucky and other required states; interim license accepted during CFY.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
