Base pay range

$77,200.00/yr - $106,200.00/yr

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology service to patients in the home or facility.
• Participate in the development and review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
• Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments.
• Report changes in patient condition to supervisor and/or physician.
• Provide instruction and training on communication systems when appropriate.
• Provide counseling and instruction to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain and submit documentation as required.
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and share information responsibly.
• Attend staff development programs and obtain continuing education.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology (ASHA).
• Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist/Speech Language Pathologist.
• Home Health experience is a plus.
• Current and unrestricted license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation.

Pay Range:

• $49.00 - $69.00 per visit/unit.
• $77,200 - $106,200 per year base pay.
