Speech Language Pathologist - Head and Neck Care

Department: Community Head Neck Care

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, 40 hours/week, 80 hours bi-weekly, benefited

Facility: Cancer Center South, 1440 E County Line Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227, United States

Shift: Day Job

Hours: Initially at North Cancer Center with transition to South upon remodel completion in 2026

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with speech/language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders as an active member of the Head and Neck/Multidisciplinary Team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited university
  • Valid Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Prior oncology care experience strongly encouraged
  • Knowledge of anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy techniques, current materials, and professional trends
  • Effective communication skills with staff, patients, families, and physicians
  • Understanding of behavioral, developmental, physical, emotional needs across all age groups
