Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Haven, MI, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an outpatient clinic. The role provides comprehensive services to evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing issues, with emphasis on patient participation and independence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop treatment plans, document findings per ASHA standards, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan or eligible for temporary licensure during CF.
• CCC from ASHA or eligible for provisional status during CF year.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose functional abilities in speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop patient-centered treatment plans and administer therapy per goals.
• Document evaluations and treatments per standards and ASHA ethics.
• Educate patients and families on plan of care and home programs.
• Provide culturally responsive care and arrange language interpretation as needed.
