Job summary

NCMH External Candidates is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, treatment, patient and family education, and discharge planning for patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders. The role emphasizes serving the pediatric population within a collaborative rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities include teamwork in program development and operations, ensuring quality care and family-centered planning throughout the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• SC license or eligible for application in Michigan.
• ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Two years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services including evaluation, treatment, education for patients and families, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate as a team member in a rehabilitative environment and contribute to program development and operations.
• Focus on pediatric population in service delivery.
