Job summary

California Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for inpatient services in Century City, Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $52.00–$73.13 per hour with a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

The role entails evaluating patients, developing and implementing therapy plans, and coordinating with other clinical services. Benefits include education support, medical/dental, PTO, and 401(k) retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• CCC from ASHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans.
• Direct and supervise discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs to support return to community activities.
• Educate patients, families, coworkers, and self.
• Coordinate treatment programs with other clinical/therapeutic services.

• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co‑workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
• Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
