Job summary

Stars School in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Orton-Gillingham training to support students with dyslexia and language-based learning disabilities in a structured, supportive setting.

The SLP will deliver direct services, align language instruction with Orton-Gillingham-supported literacy, and collaborate with teachers, reading specialists, and families to implement comprehensive language-based support throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or CSD is required.
• Massachusetts licensure or eligibility is required or anticipated.
• ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred.
• Experience with school-age students is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy per students' IEPs.
• Evaluate receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language; contribute to educational evaluations.
• Develop measurable IEP goals based on data and student needs.
• Collaborate with Orton-Gillingham teachers to align literacy and language instruction.
• Participate in IEP, progress, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain documentation.
